Tuesday, March 18th, 2025: “Sugar – The Good, the Bad, and the Delicious”
with Dr. Kelly Clough, ND
Class Description: Sugar is everywhere, not just in the obvious sweets but in processed foods, drinks, and even so-called “healthy” options. While it may taste delicious, excessive sugar consumption has been linked to obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and more. Yet, many of us consume far more than we should, often without even knowing it.  Come learn about the good and the bad about sugar, as well as healthy ways to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Tuesday, March 25th, 2025: “Employment Resources and Work-Life Balance When Living with a Disability”
with Eric Kenning, LMSW
Class Description: Living with a disability can be challenging however living with a disability AND working can be some murky waters to navigate.  Come join us in a discussion about work-life balance and some of the resources that can be used to help support your decisions to determine your pathway with the working world.

Tuesday, April 1st, 2025: “Spinal Cord Injury Latest Research Review”
with Dr. Matthias Linke, DO
Class Description:
During this presentation we will review basic science addressing spinal cord injury recovery, identify the 7 targets of therapeutic interventions, what prevents recovery, latest on Brain-Computer Interface, a case report of walking with a spinal stimulator, and how can we stimulate neuroplasticity recovery.

Tuesday, April 8th, 2025: “Bladder Care: Prevention, Treatment, New Ideas”
with Nurse Linda
Class Description: The presentation is about managing the bladder to avoid urinary tract infections and what to do if you should get one. Also, ideas will be shared about what is new on the horizon to make urinary management simpler for the individual.

All classes will be held from 6-7:30 PM via Zoom Call
