Social Recreational Events
We administer Social, Recreational, or Outreach activities each month. This includes a variety of events.
We coordinate and sponsor several accessible sports and sporting events throughout Arizona in order to encourage people to return to the hobbies and activities they enjoyed before their injury.
We also arrange support group mixers, holiday events, any activity that encourages healthy living, sports, fitness, nature, and re-engaging into the community, in a manner that is similar to that prior to injury.

WMF & AZSCIA's 2nd Annual Survivor Celebration Picnic Reunion
Join us for our 2nd Annual Survivor Celebration Picnic Reunion! Food and water bottles will be provided at the event. If you have dietary restrictions, please feel free to bring your own food.
Park Features:
-(6) Large Ramada’s (all reserved for our group) with (6) BBQ’s and sinks
– Fishing Lake – fishing permit required
-Kids playground – wing sets (splash pad not open during this time of year)
-Restroom – near kids playground
Parking is available at 81st Avenue and Olive. This is the area closest to our Ramada(s). If this parking lot is full, you can park off of 83rd Avenue at the main entrance to the park. Please feel free to bring board and yard games – making sure your name is on them. Do not bring anything that has stakes, as they are not allowed. Although this park features a dog run, we only allow registered Service Dogs for this event.
This event will take place Rain or Shine! Please dress accordingly, bring hats, jacket, blankets, sunscreen and your camera.
